Over the years Cocopeat has emerged as an ideal alternative to Peat Moss as a growing medium in the horticultural and floricultural industry. Cocopeat also called as Coir Pith or Coir Peat is obtained as a by-product during the fibre extraction of Coconut Husks. Its high water holding capacity (WHC) and air filled porosity (AFP) makes it as an ideal growing medium. It is used as Potting Mix, growing medium, seed propagation, soil conditioner and mushroom casting media and also as an organic manure.
The company also supplies special grades like-Neem Mixed, Nutrient Mixed, treated or buffered (RHP) on request. The company has the capacity to take custom-made orders. From storage to dispatch entire operations are carried out on concrete floors, which makes the product free from weed seeds, pathogens and other external impurities.
The company has state-of-the-art facilities in terms of production, machineries and Quality Control laboratory.The factory is situated in an area of 13 acres which includes of a separate washing platform covering an area of 5,000 Square feet. The entire process of manufacturing is done with excess quality measures ensuring quality production. Raw material Coir Dust is collected from the fibre factories, transported and stored in the factory for a period of time for ageing. This is washed with water and treated with chemicals in specially designed washing tanks. The washed material is then checked for its quality and then dried in stone paved yards. The dried material is then sieved to remove the short fibres and then blended to different quality requirements. This is then pressed into Blocks, Bricks or Grow Bags as per specifications and palleted for disptach.
